What are the causes of balanitis?

Sexual intercourse – during sexual intercourse, yeast or bacteria can be transmitted to a man. A man becomes a carrier, who may not show symptoms of mycosis, but he infects his sexual partner.

Diet – in terms of diet, mycosis mostly occurs in men who have an excessive intake of sugar in their diet, or in diabetics.

What are the symptoms of balanitis?

purulent secretion

If balanitis is not treated in time, it can lead to scarring of the foreskin of the penis, the formation of rhagades and subsequent narrowing of the foreskin. Balanitis also occurs with phimosis, when a man is unable to pull the foreskin over the glans and wash the foreskin sac and glans.
