Penile mycosis

Penis mycosis

It is most often associated with the following problems:

Narrowed foreskin – Narrowed foreskin is a condition where the skin cannot be pulled over the glans at all, or only partially. The result of this condition is pain during erection of the penis, inability to maintain foreskin hygiene, penis odor, inability to have intercourse, problems during intercourse, aesthetic defect disturbing during sex and in partner life, repeated cracks in the skin of the penis after erection, and inability to urinate in advanced stages. Phimosis is also a risk factor in relation to penile cancer. In children, a narrowed foreskin can also prevent normal development of the penis and inflammation of the urinary tract and kidneys.

Inflammation of the foreskin – Inflammation of the foreskin can be acute (short-term) or chronic (long-term). The cause of acute inflammation of the foreskin is most often insufficient hygiene, unprotected sexual intercourse, or diabetes. If the inflammation persists for a long time or is repeated, chronic inflammation of the foreskin may develop, in which the foreskin becomes scarred and thickened. Small scars and foreskin raggedness retract over time, resulting in a narrowing of the foreskin, or phimosis. Inflammation of the foreskin is common in boys who have a narrowed foreskin or phimosis.

Phimosis – Phimosis is a condition in which the foreskin of the penis is so narrow that it cannot be pulled back over the glans at all, or only partially. The result of this condition is pain during erection, inability to maintain foreskin hygiene, penis odor, inability to have intercourse, problems during intercourse, an aesthetic defect that interferes with sex and partner life, repeated cracks in the skin of the penis after erection, and even the inability to urinate in advanced stages. Phimosis is also a risk factor in relation to penile cancer. In children, phimosis can also prevent normal development of the penis and inflammation of the urinary tract and kidneys.
