Laser treatment of postmenopausal syndroma RENOVALASE

Solves problems:
PROCEDURE CHARACTERISTICS

Our clinic is a referral centre for laser treatment of genitourinary syndrome of menopause (GOS) and we are proud to receive patient referrals from all over Slovakia. Genitourinary syndrome of menopause is commonly associated with aging and can lead to vaginal dryness and a decrease in immunity of the vaginal mucosa. These changes lead to less than ideal function of the female urogenital system and often predispose to recurrent vaginal infection such as thrush and chronic urinary tract infections. Laser treatment called Renovelase® is a revolutionary, non-invasive and pain-free treatment for GOS. The laser treatment works by stimulating the vaginal wall and urethral tissues using specifically engineered and directed wavelengths of laser light. This causes thermal stimulation to the tissues leading to increased blood flow and increased collagen formation which helps rejuvenate and tighten the vaginal mucosa and urethral tissues, enhance its lubricating capability during intercourse and also enhancing immunity against infections of the vaginal mucosa. In contrast to traditional hormonal replacement therapy, Renovelase® treatment carries far less side-effects and is far better tolerated. Down-time is minimal, we only ask that you abstain from sexual activity for 5 days following the procedure. For best results we advise that you undergo two treatment cycles, usually one month apart.
